Gévrise Émane (born 27 July 1982) is a French judoka.
[3] She was the European champion in the women's 63 kg weight class.
[4] Emane first gained attention at the 2005 World Judo Championships in Cairo, Egypt where she won the silver medal in the women's 70 kg class.
[6] Emane became the world champion for the first time at the 2007 World Judo Championships in Rio de Janeiro by defeating Ronda Rousey of United States by points in the final match.
