Gaël Monthurel

Gaël Monthurel (born 22 January 1966) is a French handball coach and former player who was part of the French team that won the 1995 World Championship; the first time ever France won a major international tournament.

[1] With Vénissieux Handball he won the French Championship in 1992 and the 1991 and 1992 Coupe de France.

He later played for USM Gagny and PSG-Asnières[2] In 1992 he was a member of the French team which won bronze medals at the 1992 Olympics.

[3] Later he coached Gonfreville l'Orcher, Bourgoin-Jallieu, ES Falaise Calvados and CO Vernouillet.
