Gaëtan Englebert

Gaëtan Englebert (born 11 June 1976) is a Belgian football coach, official and former player who played as a defensive midfielder.

At 32, Englebert would have his first experience abroad, signing a two-year deal with Tours FC of Ligue 2 in June 2008.

In the following transfer window he returned to Liège, where he played until 2013; he continued working with the latter club as director of football after retiring.

[4] Englebert collected nine caps for Belgium, the first arriving on 28 February 2001 as the Red Devils thrashed San Marino 10–1 in Brussels during qualification for the 2002 FIFA World Cup.

The national side made it to the final stages in South Korea and Japan and the player – following another solid season at Brugge – was picked for the 23-man squad, but did not leave the bench.
