Galgotias University has received NAAC A+ accreditation in 2022.

Under section 12(B) of the UGC Act, it has been declared fit to receive central assistance.

The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked it 52nd among pharmacy colleges,[3] in 101–150 band among all universities, 151-200[4] in Engineering category and 151-200 overall in 2024.
