Garry Marsh (21 May 1902 – 6 March 1981) was an English stage and film actor.
[2][3] Born Leslie March Gerahty on 21 May 1902[4] in St Margarets, Middlesex,[5] his parents were George and Laura.
He started off in films as a leading man but later became a character actor playing self-important roles.
[9] In the mid-1950s, he chronicled his wartime adventures in North Africa in the memoir Sand in My Spinach.
[10] He married for the second time to Muriel Martin-Harvey in 1926 in Chelsea, London[11] before divorcing in 1935.
