Gary Burns (born January 16, 1955) is an American former professional ice hockey forward.
The rest of his career, which lasted from 1978 to 1986, was spent in the minor leagues.
He made his NHL debut with the New York Rangers during the 1980–81 season, playing in eleven regular season games, scoring two goals and two assists, as well as in one playoff game.
He won the 1983-84 CHL Championship (Adams Cup) as a member of the Tulsa Oilers team coached by Tom Webster.
