He made his league debut for the club on 19 April 2014 in a 2–1 away defeat to Sud América.

[1] On 17 January 2021, Club Olimpia announced the signing of Olveira on a season long loan deal.

[3] Olveira was part of Uruguay squad which won gold medal at the 2015 Pan American Games.

[4] On 11 October 2019, he received his first call-up to the Uruguay national team as a replacement for Fernando Muslera.

[5] On 21 October 2022, he was named in Uruguay's 55-man preliminary squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
