Gejlarat-e Gharbi Rural District (Persian: دهستان گچلرات غربي)[3][a] is in Aras District of Poldasht County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.
[6] At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population (as a part of the former Poldasht District of Maku County) was 6,138 in 1,398 households.

The most populous of its 16 villages was Chakhmaqlui-ye Sofla, with 1,687 people.
