George Bazeley (born 19 January 1984, in Echuca, Victoria[1]) is an Australian field hockey player.
[3] He was in goal for the team in a May 2011 match in the Victorian State League 1 competition game against Altona when his side lost 2–1.
Bazeley gained the attention of the national team after a coaching change that brought Ric Charlesworth in.
[1][4] Prior to the 2010 Commonwealth Games, the coach Ric Charlesworth made getting selection an active competition between Bazeley, Nathan Burgers and Ross Meadows.
[5] In December 2011, he was named as one of twenty-eight players to be on the 2012 Summer Olympics Australian men's national training squad.
[6] In February during the training camp, he played in a four nations test series with the teams being the Kookaburras, Australia A Squad, the Netherlands and Argentina.
