Georgetown is a census-designated place in Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States.
It is located in the area where the towns of Wilton, Redding and Weston meet.
The historic district is an area of 90 acres (360,000 m2) that includes the Gilbert and Bennett manufacturing plant, institutional housing built for the plant workers, and other private homes.
The district includes portions of Georgetown in the towns of Redding and Wilton.
16.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
