Georgetown is a census-designated place in Clay Township, St. Joseph County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.
It is part of the South Bend–Mishawaka, IN-MI, Metropolitan Statistical Area.
As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 4,497 people, 2,040 households, and 1,115 families residing in the CDP.
There were 2,262 housing units at an average density of 1,166.0 per square mile (450.2/km2).
35.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 10.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
