[2] Like Georgia has done most years since their début in the contest, the Georgian broadcaster GPB decided to internally select their 2015 artist after holding an open audition.

It was originally announced on 5 August 2015 that Liza, Elen, Tako and Data will represent Georgia, however on 25 September 2015 it was revealed that they would perform as a group The Virus.

[3] The Virus is a Georgian pop group, consisting of singers: Elee Kay (Elene Kezhrishvili), Tako Gagnidze, Lizi Tavberidze and Data Pavliashvili.

The jury consisted of five music industry professionals who were citizens of the country they represent, with their names published before the contest to ensure transparency.

This jury was asked to judge each contestant based on: vocal capacity; the stage performance; the song's composition and originality; and the overall impression by the act.
