German Individual Speedway Championship

The German Individual Speedway Championship is a Motorcycle speedway championship held each year to determine the German national champion.

[1][2][3][4] Before the German reunification champions of West Germany and East Germany were declared.

[5][6] The first German champion was crowned in 1962, when Jürgen Hehlert won the East German Championship.

[7] Before 1979 the West German Individual Championship was only held on Grasstrack and/or Long track.
