Albert Gerard Fraley (December 25, 1954 – May 25, 2019) was an American sportswriter.
[1] Fraley played college football as a nose tackle for the Carnegie Mellon Tartans while majoring in engineering.
He switched his major to journalism during his senior year and quit playing football.
After Fraley and his wife divorced, Pam moved with the children to California.
[6] In December 2023, Fraley was named the recipient of the 2024 BBWAA Career Excellence Award.
