Gerald Bernard Huth (July 23, 1933 – February 11, 2011) was an American football guard who played in the National Football League (NFL) for the New York Giants, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Minnesota Vikings.
[1] Postmortem research diagnosed Huth with chronic traumatic encephalopathy.
[2] He was one of at least 345 NFL players to be diagnosed after death with this disease, which is caused by repeated hits to the head.
