The port of Ghazaouet is also a point of entry for Algerians entering the country via boat from Almeria, Spain.
The rock itself is climbable however, requires a 7-to-10 minute swim from the pier/port to reach whereas, a ladder attached to the rock will allow you to climb onto a staircase to then walk around the top of the lighthouse, in which often times locals dive and jump from 95 meters high.
