Giddha, Nepal

Giddha is a village development committee in Dhanusa District in the Janakpur Zone of south-eastern Nepal Municipality called Videha.

At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 4,147 persons living in 714 individual households.

Mithila has a rich history dating back thousands of years.

It is mentioned in ancient Hindu scriptures, and it is believed to be the birthplace of Sita, the wife of Lord Rama, a central figure in the Ramayana.

This traditional art involves intricate and colorful designs and is often created on walls, paper, or cloth.
