Gilbert is a town in Mingo County, West Virginia, United States, along the Guyandotte River.

Gilbert is known nationwide for the Hatfield-McCoy ATV Trails that are located in the area.

On July 1, 2023, after a months-long design contest,[8] the town announced its new flag, "The Star of Bright Promise.

The racial makeup of the town was 99.1% White, 0.2% Asian, and 0.7% from two or more races.

At the 2000 census there were 417 people, 187 households, and 120 families living in the town.
