Gilbert Hadley Three-Decker

Built in 1888, it is a well-preserved example of the form with Stick-style architecture, with a distinctive arrangement of porches.

The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

It is a three-story wood frame structure, with a hip roof and clapboarded exterior.

A single-story porch extends across the front and wraps around to the right side, and is elaborately finished, with spindled friezes, chamfered posts, and decorative brackets.

Early tenants of the building included skilled workers such as bookkeepers, clerks, and teachers, as well as a policeman and an insurance agent.
