Gildford is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Hill County, Montana, United States.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 5.0 square miles (13 km2), all land.

The junior and senior high schools are now located in Rudyard, Montana.

[citation needed] As of the census[10] of 2000, there were 185 people, 76 households, and 54 families residing in the CDP.

Amtrak’s Empire Builder, which operates between Seattle/Portland and Chicago, passes through the town on BNSF tracks, but makes no stop.
