Giovanni Battista Passeri

Giovanni Battista Passeri (c. 1610 – 22 April 1679) was an Italian painter of the Baroque period.

Passeri became director or president of the Accademia di San Luca in Rome, which once had his portrait of Domenichino, now in Florence.

These publications are based on Passeri's lectures on art theory, which he delivered between 1662/3 and 1675 at the Accademia di S Luca.
