Giovanni d'Aragona (1456–1485)

[1] On November 10, 1477, he was named apostolic administrator of the see of Taranto, a post he held for the rest of his life.

[1] In the consistory of December 10, 1477, Pope Sixtus IV made him a cardinal deacon.

[1] On January 14, 1480, he opted for the order of cardinal priests and his deaconry of Sant'Adriano al Foro was raised pro illa vice to titulus.

[1] On November 14, 1481, he was named apostolic administrator of the metropolitan see of Cosenza, a post he held for the rest of his life.

[1] He returned to Rome on August 19, 1484, in order to participate in the papal conclave of 1484 that elected Pope Innocent VIII.
