Giuseppe Guarino (15 November 1922 – 17 April 2020) was an Italian law scholar and politician from the Christian Democracy (DC).
[2] Guarino started his career as a faculty member at the University of Sassari in 1950 and became a professor of public law there.
[4][5] During his tenure Guarino continuously criticized the privatization efforts of the government.
[3] Some of his books include Verso l’Europa, ovvero la fine della politica published in 1997 and Ratificare Lisbona?
[4] He argued that in 1999 there occurred an "obscure coup d’État" referring to the approval of an EC Regulation numbered 1466–973.
