Glenbrook Beach is a rural community at the northern end of a peninsula formed between the Waiuku River and Taihiki River in Auckland, New Zealand.
[3] The area is also known as Kawahai, after a species of fish which has been a substantial food source for the local Ngāti Te Ata iwi.

[7][8] Statistics New Zealand describes Glenbrook Beach as a rural settlement, which covers 1.17 km2 (0.45 sq mi)[1] and had an estimated population of 590 as of June 2024,[2] with a population density of 504 people per km2.
[9] Before the 2023 census, the settlement had a smaller boundary, covering 0.43 km2 (0.17 sq mi).
