[1][2] Since 1998, her name has been linked to the Trevi-Andrade Clan, an organization with cult-like overtones accused of sexual abuse, corruption of minors and labor exploitation, led by Trevi's former representative, Sergio Andrade.
As a child, she developed an interest in American and British rock music artists, such as Led Zeppelin, The Doors, and Janis Joplin.

While her sixth record was well-received as her comeback, her seventh studio album Una Rosa Blu was a massive critical and commercial success.
The album debuted at the top of the Billboard charts and produced two successful singles, "Como Yo Te Amo" ("How I Love You") and "Las Pequeñas Cosas" ("The Little Things").
