Godwin is a town in Cumberland County, North Carolina, United States.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.50 square miles (1.3 km2), all land.

15.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 13.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

There were 8.6% of families and 13.0% of the population living below the poverty line, including 34.4% of under eighteens and 18.8% of those over 64.

While a new building was constructed, the Presbyterian congregation was invited by the Godwin Baptist church to share their facility.
