Clarion is located 8 miles (13 km) East of Goldfield on Highway 3.
In 2002, 3rd grade for the entire district was combined in the Goldfield Elementary to greater utilize the building.
The Goldfield building was closed in 2008, with all students attending all classes in Clarion.
