Gomoa West is one of the constituencies represented in the Parliament of Ghana.
Its boundaries are similar to those of the Gomoa West District in the Central Region of Ghana.
The current constituency boundaries have been in place from prior to the 2012 Ghanaian general election.
He was elected on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and won a majority of 3,474 votes[4] to become the MP.
He succeeded Joe Kingsley Hackman who had represented the constituency in the 4th Republic parliament on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
