Good Boy (Korean: 굿보이) is an upcoming South Korean television series written by Lee Dae-il, directed by Shim Na-yeon [ko], and starring Park Bo-gum, Kim So-hyun, Oh Jung-se, Lee Sang-yi, Heo Sung-tae, and Tae Won-seok [ko].
The series depicts the so-called "Olympic Avengers" where fallen sports heroes become police officers.
In February 2021, Good Boy was announced as part of Studio&NEW's drama lineup and the script was written by Lee Dae-il, who wrote Life on Mars (2018) and the first and second seasons of Chief of Staff (2019).
[3] According to Joy News 24, the cast and crew would be holding a full script reading on March 21, 2024.
[4] On August 28, 2024, it was reported that the filming was temporarily suspended after Park sustained a minor leg injury while doing an action scene in Busan and already receiving treatment at a hospital in Seoul.
