"Good Lord" is a song by Australian alternative rock band Birds of Tokyo and is the second single from their sixth studio album, Human Design.

[2] Band member Ian Kenny said the song is about the break up of his marriage.

Kenny explained: "I know I'm not the first person to go through it, and unfortunately I won't be the last, but it still hurt like hell and you can hear that in this song".

[7] At the APRA Music Awards of 2020, "Good Lord" was nominated for Most Performed Australian Work of the Year and Most Performed Alternative Work of the Year.
