Goodings Grove was a census-designated place (CDP) in northern Will County, Illinois, United States.

[2] According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP had a total area of 9.4 square miles (24 km2), of which 0.11% is water.

As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 17,084 people, 5,109 households, and 4,649 families residing in the CDP.

There were 5,183 housing units at an average density of 550.2 per square mile (212.4/km2).

7.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 2.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
