[8][9] At the 1985 Maccabiah Games in Israel, Orlikow won the gold medal in the men's decathlon with 7,141 points.

[14] Orlikow was a bronze medalist in the men's decathlon at the 1987 Pan American Games in Indianapolis, Indiana, in the United States for Canada, with 7,441 points.
