Gordon Seyfried

Gordon Clay Seyfried (born July 4, 1937) is a retired American professional baseball player.

The former right-handed pitcher spent 12 years as a professional and appeared in five games in Major League Baseball for the 1963 and 1964 Cleveland Indians.

On November 27, 1962, Seyfried was traded with fellow hurler Ron Nischwitz to the Cleveland Indians for veteran third baseman Bubba Phillips.

[5] In 1964, Seyfried worked in two scoreless April relief appearances for the Indians, before returning to Triple-A.

[6] Seyfried retired as a pitcher in mid-1967, and spent the remainder of that season as the manager of the Gulf Coast Indians, Cleveland's Rookie-level affiliate.
