Goriška Vas pri Škocjanu (pronounced [ɡɔˈɾiːʃka ˈʋaːs pɾi ʃkɔˈtsjaːnu]; Slovene: Goriška vas pri Škocjanu) is a small village in the Municipality of Škocjan in southeastern Slovenia.
[2] The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola.
The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.
[4] The local church is dedicated to Saints Hermagoras and Fortunatus and belongs to the Parish of Škocjan.
It is a medieval building that was restyled in the Baroque in the first half of the 18th century.
