Grayson Murphy (basketball)

Grayson Murphy (born February 4, 1999) is an American professional basketball player for the South Bay Lakers of the NBA G League.

[4] As a sophomore, he averaged 9.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 2.6 steals per game, earning First Team All-Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) and Defensive Player of the Year honors.

[9] On February 13, 2021, he registered the first triple-double of Belmont's NCAA era, with 13 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists in a 73–58 win over Morehead State.

[11] In his junior season, he averaged 10.9 points, eight rebounds, 5.8 assists and 2.3 steals per game, and repeated as First Team All-OVC and Defensive Player of the Year.

[15] After joining them for the 2024 NBA Summer League,[16] Murphy signed with the Los Angeles Lakers on October 18,[17] but was waived the next day.
