Great Ponton railway station

Great Ponton railway station was a station on the East Coast Main Line at Great Ponton, Lincolnshire, England.

The station buildings were demolished soon after the closure.

The Park Gate Iron and Steel Company had an ironstone quarry east of Sproxton, Leicestershire.

A 6-mile (10 km) mineral railway linked it with the East Coast Main Line at a junction just under 1 mile (1.6 km) south of Great Ponton station.
