A natural circulation direct steam generation boiler operates at 550 °C and 55 bars pressure.

[1] Greenway invested 50 million dollars in the project, which was supported by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) and the Technology Development Foundation of Turkey (TTGV).

[2] After extensive research and development, the Greenway CSP Mersin Solar Plant began operation in March 2013.

[3] In addition the Greenway heliostat design allows high reflecting efficiency and reduced manufacturing and assembly costs.

The solar tower plant is situated in the Toroslar district in the northern outskirts of Mersin city, south of the Adana-Erdemli O51 motorway, and is the first concentrated solar power tower in Turkey.
