Greenwood, Delaware

Greenwood is a town in Sussex County, Delaware, United States.

It is part of the Salisbury, Maryland-Delaware Metropolitan Statistical Area.

[4] The official Delaware snow depth record was established near Greenwood on February 7, 2010, after the February 5–6, 2010 North American blizzard resulted in a measurement of 28 inches.

The record was measured at the Greenwood 2.9 SE station of the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network.

[7] According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.7 square miles (1.8 km2) all land.

[8] At the 2000 census there were 837 people, 335 households, and 211 families living in the town.
