[1] Upon its formation, the first-team consisted of footballers from the Guangzhou City youth ranks.

[1] The club represented Guangxi in the 2021 National Games of China,[2][3] and competed in the Guangxi Super League in 2021, in which competition the club eventually won,[4] and enrolled in the 2021 CMCL, the Chinese fourth-tier.

[4] After topping their 2021 CMCL group over Yunnan Yukun Steel, they were eventually knocked out of the competition by Hubei Huachuang.

[7] In Guangxi Lanhang's first season in China League Two, the club finished fifth place, with Wang Haozhi scoring the club's first ever professional goal in a 1–0 victory at Hainan Star on 29 April 2023.
