Gug Tappeh (Persian: گوگ‌تپه)[a] is a village in Baranduzchay-ye Shomali Rural District of the Central District of Urmia County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,804 in 482 households.

It was the most populous village in its rural district.
