Guilford Young College

The college is named in honour of Sir Guilford Young who served as the eighth Archbishop of Hobart from 1955 to 1988.

Classrooms, a canteen, chapel, staff rooms, library, uniform shop and offices are situated in several buildings.

Nearby is the new Southern Colleges Trade Training Centre, as well as facilities for subjects including art, catering and photography.

years, this campus has undergone a building program which has provided a new catering suite, uniform shop, photography laboratory, classrooms, computer labs, and a gym.

Originally, the Hobart Campus was the site for the first St Virgil's College, which was opened by the Christian Brothers in 1911.
