Gum Nanse

He furthered his education by conducting at the Universität der Künste in Berlin under Professor Hans-Martin Rabenstein.

After returning to Korea in 1980, he was appointed as the conductor of the KBS Symphony Orchestra, a role he held for 12 years.

[9] Samsung Electronics sponsored Suwon Philharmonic Orchestra and supported its international tours, including performances at the 1998 Asian Games in Bangkok.

In interviews, Gum has highlighted the importance of classical musicians engaging audiences in diverse settings.

In September 2015, Gum took on the role of principal guest conductor of the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra.
