[1] Born in Agboville, Ivory Coast and raised in Paris, France, Edi later moved to the United States and joined the basketball team of Sylmar High School in Sylmar, California as a sophomore in February 2007.

[2] Edi made his first career start on January 21, 2012 against San Diego, with eight points and four rebounds in 26 minutes.

[4] As a senior in 2012–13, Edi started the first 11 games but played fewer minutes in the second half of the season.

[6] In January 2021, Edi signed with Úrvalsdeild karla club Þór Akureyri.

Edi agreed to terms with German third-division side Basketball Löwen Erfurt in July 2021.
