Gymnastics at the 1988 Summer Olympics – Women's artistic team all-around

These are the results of the women's team all-around competition, one of six events for female competitors in artistic gymnastics at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul.

The compulsory and optional rounds took place on September 19 and 21 at the Olympic Gymnastics Hall.

The United States received a half point deduction from East German judge Ellen Berger, due to team alternate Rhonda Faehn being on the competition podium during the compulsory uneven bars routine of Kelly Garrison-Steves.

[1] The half point deduction meant that East Germany received bronze at the expense of the United States.

[1] During the medal ceremony, East Germans Gabriele Fähnrich and Bettina Schieferdecker mistakenly stepped off the podium before the state anthem of the gold medal Soviet Union played.
