HBA-Märsky

Their home arena is in URHEA Campus in Mäkelänrinne, Vallila, Helsinki, which also serves as the National Olympic Training Center.

Helsinki Basketball Academy is a joint program of the Finnish Basketball Association and Helsinki-based schools Mäkelänrinteen lukio [fi] (Mäkelänrinne Sports High School; nicknamed Märsky) and Pohjois-Haagan yhteiskoulu [fi] (PHYK).

[1] PHYK operates with teens aged 13–15 where they advance to Märsky high school program.

[2] The HBA program was created in 2011, with a strong influence by Henrik Dettmann,[3][4] and started in 2012.

The aim of the program is to develop young Finnish talented basketball players aged 13–19 to an international level for Finnish national teams, by providing year round professional coaching and education.
