Haivoron (Ukrainian: Гайворон, IPA: [ˈɦɑjworon] ⓘ) is a city in Holovanivsk Raion, Kirovohrad Oblast, Ukraine.
[2][3] Haivoron is a former village from Gaysin uyezd in Podolian Governorate of the Russian Empire.
From 1897 to 1898 a locomotive repair plant was built in Haivoron.
[4] During World War II, the settlement was occupied by Axis troops from July 29, 1941 to March 11, 1944.
The raion was abolished in July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Kirovohrad Oblast to four.
