Halysidota orientalis is a moth of the family Erebidae.
It is found in Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama, the Antilles, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, French Guiana, Brazil (Para, São Paulo) and possibly Chile.
