[2][3] Doğangün began her sporting career in wheelchair basketball at Bağcılar Belediye SK in Istanbul.
[2] Doğangün captured the gold medal in the 200m T34/52/53 event at the 2012 IPC Athletics European Championships held in Stadskanaal, Netherlands.
[3] At the 8th FAZAA leg of the IPC Athletics 2016 Grand Prix in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, which was a 2016 Paralympics qualifier, she won the silver medal in the 100m T53 event with 17.43.
[7] She won the bronze medal at the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships – Women's 400 metres event in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
[9] She took the silver medal in the 100m T53 event of the 2021 World Para Athletics European Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland.
