Hanus Sørensen

Hanus Sørensen (born 19 February 2001) is a Faroese footballer who plays as a defender for NK Celje.

Ahead of the second half of the 2020–21 season, he signed for Danish side Middelfart, before he returned to his old club HB on loan.

Two years later, he signed for Slovenian side Celje, and will start playing for the club from the second half of the 2024–25 season.

Altogether, he made forty-two appearances for the under-17, and under-19, and under-21 teams combined, and helped the under-17's achieve qualification for the 2017 UEFA European Under-17 Championship.

[2] He made his debut for the national team on November 16, 2022, starting as a right-back in a 5-0 loss to Czechia, and scored his first goal in a 1-1 draw with Latvia during the 2024–25 UEFA Nations League C. Sørensen can play as a defender or midfielder and is right-footed.
