Haplormosia is a monotypic genus of legumes in the family Fabaceae.
Its only species is Haplormosia monophylla,[2] commonly known as Liberian black gum, native to Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Nigeria, and Sierra Leone.
It is threatened by habitat loss.
